Hey readers!

Yes I'm very lazy to update my movie reviews. Last week was hectic and super busy for me. I have to help and handle 2 photo shoot straight 4 days and woke up very early. Can you imagine how tired I was? But Alhamdulillah now I finished all my assignments and articles. Time flies very fast because I have another almost 1 month to go. Can't wait to start class.
As I remember I watched Tron Legacy during Christmas Eve. It was quite a long time ago. Do you know that Tron Legacy is the sequel from the first series back in 1982? I didn't know that until I make some research about the movie. The original was inventive, smart, and remarkably applicable to the computer terminology and concepts that pervaded the 80’s tech scene. The sequel, Tron Legacy, is a great expounding of the story and just a delightful 3D visual to boot. For all its technology, it displays humanity in much more abundance.
Tron Legacy adalah lakonan Garrett Hedlund, Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, and Beau Garrett. Tron Legacy takes place 27 years after the original. Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) now runs Encom but has been missing for 20 years leaving the company in the hands of unscrupulous businessmen and his son Sam in the hands of his parents.
Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner) is still on the board trying to keep the company from the dark side as it were but his more altruistic ideas are shot down consistently. While exploring the arcade, Sam discovers a concealed computer laboratory and unintentionally transports himself to The Grid, a virtual world inside the computer. He is quickly identified as a User and is brought face to face with the new master control program…and it looks like his father from 27 years ago.

Sam quickly learns that all is not well on the Grid and that he needs to find a way out as quickly as possible. Help comes from a helpful and enormously hot Program named Quorra (Olivia Wilde) who takes him to his father who has been trapped in the grid for 20 years.Taken to a distant hideout in the "Outlands,"
Sam is reunited with his father, who reveals that Clu betrayed him and defeated Tron, seizing control of The Grid and forcing Flynn to remain in hiding.Resolving to make it back to the real world where he would be able to delete Clu, Sam makes his way back to The Grid to find a program named Zuse, who he believes can provide safe passage to the portal.Though Flynn and Quorra arrive just in time to help Sam escape, Quorra is wounded in the process and Zuse gains possession of Flynn's identity disc. Knowing the disc works as a master key to The Grid, Zuse attempts to negotiate with Clu, but Clu simply takes it and destroys the club.
The three unexpectedly arrive at a station aboard a massive warship. When Quorra allows Rinzler to capture her to serve as a distraction, Flynn recognizes Rinzler as a reprogrammed Tron. Clu addresses an army of troops, expressing his desire to enter the real world and reform it to his ideal of perfection.Probably the most impressive effect used in the film is the de-aging technology they use on both Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner.
The technology looks great. What does move through to fruition is the score by Daft Punk. The electronic super stars do an Oscar worthy job of combining pulse pounding electronic beats with hummable themes and bombastic orchestral arrangements. In the end, Sam, Flynn and Quorra reach the portal only to find Clu blocking their path. Flynn sacrifices himself to end the impasse, re-integrating with Clu to ensure Sam and Quorra escape. The two merge and explode just as Sam and Quorra use Flynn's disc to transport themselves through the portal to the real world.
TRON: Legacy is every bit the exciting adventure Disney has been promising to deliver for several years. It also has all the flaws you’ve, unfortunately, come
to expect from a big budget blockbuster
I comment this movie
(4) ★★★★only.
