Hey readers!

The film tracks a responsible working woman, who in most areas of her life, has it all figured out. That is, until she does a little math and calculates that if she sleeps with just one more guy, her chances of finding Mr. Right fly out the window. What is your number? Apparently, the average amount of sexual partner a woman has before she’s married is 10.5. I guess love is just a numbers game?
What's Your Number adalah lakonan Anna Faris, Chris Evans, Ari Graynor and Blythe Danner. Ally Darling (Anna Faris) starts the movie in an emotional tailspin when it hits her that a) she’s been fired; b) her little sister Daisy (Ari Graynor), is getting married before her; and c) she has slept with 19 men, a number social science says is one bonk away from dooming her to a life of spinsterhood. As the theory goes or so the movie says a woman who has slept with more than 20 men in her life has less of a chance of finding a mate than those who haven’t. That means Anna Faris has to stop right there. She’s already at 20.
So the only way for her to find a man is to go back to one she has already met. Taking her fate into her own hands, this can-do gal must track down all her ex-boyfriends, hoping one of the 20 will somehow suddenly have become the man of her dreams. The film must also have emptied Hollywood’s talent agencies of all almost-leading-man-handsome actors. Joel McHale, Chris Pratt, Zachary Quinto, Thomas Lennon, Anthony Mackie, Dave Annable and many, many more fill out the cast of Ally’s also-rans. Anyway, one by one, Ally discovers that there were good reasons why she stopped dating this score of men.
Meanwhile, Chris Evans plays Colin, the good-natured hunky lunkhead musician scoundrel from the apartment across the hall. Could Ally and Colin ever … ? Nah, too obvious. Instead, he offers to help her track down and contact all her ex-lovers. Because what are neighbours for? What’s Your Number? Is just another number in the realm of romantic comedies. It tries to have shock valure but dropping words like vagina and penis pretty heavily, exposes partial nudity and pushes the awkward factor but flies under the radar in memoriblity.
The actors were great but the storyline was highly predictable and it seems like the editing was off. I bet when this comes out on DVD that the deleted scenes on the Special Features are going to be pretty hilarious. I mean, it’s Anna Faris for goodness sakes. She’s usually hysterical and Chris Evans, I know he has some serious comedy chops.
I comment this movie
