The Pretty Reckless-You

Hey readers!

I love The Pretty Reckless debut album 'Light Me Up'. The last track entitled 'You' really give me goosebumps! Perfect song, short lyrics but meaningful. I love it so much.

The Pretty Reckless-You

You don’t want me, no

You don’t need me

Like I want you, oh

Like I need you

And I want you in my life

And I need you in my life

You can’t see me, no

Like I see you

I can’t have you, no

Like you have me

And I want you in my life

And I need you in my life

You can’t feel me, no

Like I feel you I can’t steal you, no

Like you stole me

And I want you in my life

And I need you in my life

'Made In Jakarta'

Hey readers!

I almost forget to show you guys the latest picture of my cutest nephew, Rahil and sweetest niece, Tanisha. This pictures were taken during our trip to Sunway Lagoon on three days after Hari Raya. Instead visiting relative's house we as a family prefer other cool and splashing place. They have grown up so fast. Even though, I see them once a year (they live in Jakarta) but our bond never seems to be akward.

I geram with Rahil's cheeks. Everyone want to pinch his big-double cheeks. They said Rahil is the apprentice of me. Big cheeks. Tanisha always be the sweetest girl among my other niece. She always the barbie type of girl. I always adore her Indonesia's accent.

Resident Evil 4: After Life Movie Review

Hey readers!

Actually, I have tons of movies that I haven't review yet. It seems that I am too lazy to review all of them at one time. But tonight I have the courage to review movie that I watch 2 weeks ago, I guess which Resident Evil 4 is. I never am a fan of the Resident Evil collections. This is my first time watching one of the parts of Resident Evil movies. In my point of view, the part four there's no big different from the previous franchise. In Resident Evil 4, Alice, continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. That's all. I have not played Resident Evil game and hence I don’t know some of the characters. In terms of character development and story driven elements, movie isn’t providing you inputs. But for those who have seen the 3 previous movies might not have many difficulties in identifying them I guess. Overall, the story line is poor. There's nothing in the movie just to enjoy the experiment of 3D effects.
Resident Evil 4: After Life adalah lakonan Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller. The movie started with the original Alice ambushes Wesker, but Wesker injects her with a serum that neutralizes the T-virus in her system, eliminating her superhuman powers and making her human again. Six months later, Alice follows a repeating emergency broadcast from a survivors' safe haven known as "Arcadia". But she doesn't know where “Arcadia” is. She is searching for her friends; Claire played by Ali Larter and K-Mart but didn't find them. So she lost hopes believing herself to be the last surviving human on the planet. When Alice stopping on an abandoned beach, she found the helicopter that sent Claire away. Suddenly, she found Claire with a different personality and finds out that Claire is under influenced of Umbrella Corporation. Claire doesn't know Alice. A device attached to her chest and damaged Claire's memory.

Both of them fly to Los Angeles, and find a small group of survivors living in a maximum security prison, surrounded by the undead. She wanted to help all the survivors by flying them to "Arcadia" but the plane can only fly two person only at one time. Alice and the survivors try to figure out a means to make it to Arcadia together. She found Claire's brother Chris played by Wentworth Miller whom they found locked in a maximum security cell. The amazing visual effects make Resident Evil Afterlife a blast from start to finish. I just admire the effects only. When the scene Claire fights with the Zombie Giant. (Still wonder why his face was covered – that could have added to the scare-factor) was the best. Smart and powerful. The survivors are left to a small group until it was left three people only. Other is killed by the zombie. They continue to Arcadia, finding the ship completely functional, but abandoned. They realize that it is a trap set by Umbrella Corporation.
At the last part, all of them fight with Wesker. Alice battles the super-powered Wesker and seemingly kills him. Wesker does not die. In the end, Alice had hid the bomb on board his helicopter, which is promptly destroyed by the explosion. This movie won’t educate you or make you think but it will keep you entertained and impress you with its visuals only. Don't look for the main point or value of this movie.
I comment this movie (3)★★only.

I’ll Be Your Commander

Moving on from the crazy upside down moods and let's talk about future. Lately, I realized one bad thing about me. You know, when life gets older and wiser we will think that what we did in the past was wrong. In my case, I regretted I don't pay attention when my English teacher taught me 'Grammar Lesson' in her class. It's like a dead bomb exploded in your life and suddenly you were thinking that do I have time to learn again? I really admire my Arwah Abah's style of life. He never cares about what's in, what's up with his friends or even where to buy a new tie? All he cares is about books and foods. If I have a proper word to describe that I will tell you. Unfortunately I couldn't. Although he passed away when he was 63 years old (I was 14 years old, back in 2002), book never run from him. I still remember at the end day of his life he is still reading. He read a piece of paper that have some Islam's prays (not sure what it is, maybe bacaan surah surah) and I don't know what is in his mind.

Most of the people who are close with my family know my father. They know who he was in real life. They will portrays him as serious, well educated, dislike people with no proper education and most importantly, caring. I tell you, there is none of my relatives who dare to talk with him even my late grandmother are scared with him. It's not because he has a case in past that he murder anyone but his facial expression and style are really serious. Most of the people who I met during Hari Raya occasion, for example my unknown auntie/uncle will say that, I'm just like my father. Just from face, style, eyes and smile. Personally, I have to admit that was the worst compliment I ever get from anyone that I met. Why? Right after the compliment, my mother will continue it with this line, "But he never follows his father's book worm". How should I react? That happened again last Raya for I'm not sure how many times, and what I did was, I quickly go to the table that full of 'kuih raya' cookies and choose the most anticipated cookies and fill it into my mouth (Usually, I will choose the one which easy to chew ('kuih ros' or 'kerepek pisang') and grab it many times so that everyone will see me, oh! He's eating, don't ask him anything)

That's my fault. I never follow that book worm quality from my father. Sometime, it really makes me look like a dumb blonde. Yesterday, a thiry-something, single but available old man asked me a question. Have I ever send any form of my writings collection to any publication company? A quick answer, No. He response to my answer with full of disappointed. He said "You should write an article in any topic and send it to any publication company like The Star or Reader's Digest (These two readings make a big different with NYLON or even Vogue). IF (He stressed the word 'if') your article is able to appear in any page of those publications, you are going to be a successful writer. Another thing, what else do you like to write? Do you like to write poem or short stories? (Ask my man, Mazri Mansor. He's the ghost of these two. Kidding!) Are you kidding me, thirty-something old man? Yes, again. It's my bad. I never take seriously about to getting involved or at least lead my way to writing field since I was small. Do you know how it looks like to be raised in a family who want their children in science stream? Well I do. None of my sisters are in creative field. All of them are from business fields and counting shits. So they wanted the only boy in family to be involved in Science field. Too bad, the god didn't answer your pray for me to be in Science field.

When I think back what did the thirty-something old man said to me, it does gave me a big impact. I look throughout my essays and language skills it was bad. I feel like, tomorrow I need to get prepare for my first English class with Mrs. Pergas (My English teacher when I was standart 3). I must learn to sharpen up my English grammar. I want to learn from the beginning. Grammar for dummies. So, I was thinking that when all my assignments are over for this week I want to visit book stores. I need to spend my cash on real books. I'm searching for the proper English grammar book and learn it carefully. I know it's quite late to learn back but at least I am in a process to correcting my English language. I want my English to be on the international level. That's what matter the most.

I'm Gonna Be Around

Hey readers!

Photobucket

Right now I am weak, very negative, sad and alone. When we are alone friends will always advise us, no don't worry you're not alone, you have US. But is it true? Or is it just to keep us calm and be positive. Yes when you're not in a good mood calm are the best solution. I don't know this past few days I don't have any mood. In fact, I skipped the whole classes today. I just sleep and watch the clock ticking.

Today was my weakest day so far. I feel so restless and uncomfortable. My sleeps are not great. One of the factors are my thin pillows. The pillows are used to be thick and comfy but when it has been 1 year plus on my bed it become thin and not comfy at all. My neck are killing me. Gila, sakit leher. Tak selesa all the time. Everything seems not good.

I am very negative person right now. I was so hungry because I had my dinner so early at 8pm. When I had my dinner early I will be insanely hungry at mid night. I don't want to have supper anymore starting last month because I want to 'abolish' my freaking double chin. But when it comes to this situation, I don't give a damn! Yes I have chubby cheeks and double/triple chins but who cares? Yes people out there care about it. People don't like that features. Although the world keep shouting don't worry we love you the way you are! Bullshit. People don't like ugly features.

Lately, I'm trying to finish the whole 6 seasons of Sex and The City series. I really admire Carrie Bradshaw's type of friendship. They really accept who they are, helpful and not being judgmental. They have the feelings like "What's up on you?" between each other. I do have friends who like that but after that just act like they don't care. To be honest, I am a loner. Most of my time I spend by my own. I hate being alone. One attitude I really adore about Carrie and the girls are they come when they asked to meet them. Like example, Miranda asked Carrie " I want you to come here, right now. I need you". Carrie came to her house immediately. I know I don't do this to all my friends, but is it truly exist this kind of quality in friendship?

To be worst, I lost a best friend. I am sad and disappointed.

Russian Roulette

Hey readers!

What is great about wedding are meeting old friends and enjoying the happiness of the newlyweds. When it comes to a great mood, attending wedding couldn't be more happier. Last Saturday, I went to Nazwan's sister's wedding at Alson Klana Resort, Seremban. Thanks for the invitations.

I went there with my mother, Ass and mother's friend. It was hectic when four of us couldn't find the right way to the resort. But we did it. The ceremony was awesome with great nasi beriyani and Nazwan's clan's performances. Kinda interesting but weird at first. There, I met an old friend, Aishah and few other my mother's friends which I quite close with.

My mother's BFF asked me "Ada girlfriend tak?" Haha. Kau mampu nak jawab? Later catch up with some other friends and sempat lagi gossiping with Aishah. But what I hate the most there are no nice picture of myself at the wedding. BTW, I was blessed to attend this kind of great wedding ceremony. Congratulations and semoga berbahagia hingga ke akhir hayat, Gegirl! (The bride).

Going The Distance Movie Review

Hey readers!

I was looking forward to seeing Going the Distance. I adore Drew Barrymore and Christina Applegate, so I thought I was sure to be in for a real treat. I got an odd sense of disappointment from the movie. I went to watch Going The Distance with Ass, like there is no one else. Living in the current digital age, it is no wonder that a movie would be produced based on a long distance relationship. Cell phones and computers make long distance relationships possible to maintain, but it does not make them easy to keep. Personally, been that done that. Haha! I adore Drew Barrymore in the movie. She is such a charmer and crazy! Maybe it was because of Justin Long. I don't have any interest on him. Pity me. But it was kinda awesome to watch the former couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long in a movie. Overall the movie had enough romantic and cute moments to make you smile, it also had an almost equal amount of jokes that made you raise your eyebrows.

Going The Distance adalah lakonan Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, Christina Applegate, Charlie Day, Ron Livingston and Jason Sudeikis. In my point of view, Barrymore and Long, these love birds have been on and off for years so the flawless on-screen chemistry in no surprise. Their performances were very genuine. But I get annoyed with Justin Long's roommates played by Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis. Their talkative and non-stop silly jokes makes me annoyed! This movie is about a couple who try to maintain a long-distance relationship, one in New York City, New York, and the other in San Francisco, California. Drew Barrymore plays Erin, a 31-year-old woman who put her life on hold and is now finally catching up. Except for not wanting to give her life up over a relationship, when Erin and Garrett played by Justin Long get together, it’s not really relevant. Justin Long plays Garrett, a man who works at a music label and always wants to do more, but never tries. Garrett gets out of a long relationship the same day he meets Erin at a bar.

When the movie started it's kinda interesting. On how a typical guy met a girl of his dreams and suddenly their story of long distance relationship become dragging. At first they thought it was just a one night stand but their chemistry sparks a full-fledged summer fling, but neither expects it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett stays behind for his job in New York City. But when six weeks of romping through the city inadvertently become meaningful, neither is sure they want it to end. They taking their long distance relationship seriously. Christina Applegate plays Corrine, Erin’s sister. I like Corrine. She’s always in mother-mode and is very protective of her sister. I’ve never seen Christina Applegate in a role quite like Corrine before, and I felt that it was good for her.Like always, there will be some problems in long distance relationship. Actually I don't really get the point of their problem because it looks dragging and not a major thing to be pointed out in the movie. In a short word Going The Distance was like two people meet, they like each other, they date, they struggle with distance…roll credits. That's all.

Not only was I not crazy about the relationship between the lead characters, I found the movie dragged on a bit too long. It probably could have been edited down a bit to come in around 90 minutes. There’s nothing offensively bad about this romantic comedy and it certainly does have its moments, but its impossible to deny that the movie does feel a bit stale due to its weak storyline. Again, don’t rush out and see this, but if you’re a guy and your girl wants to go, you’d be wise to save your resistance for something that’s actually bad.

I comment this movie (2) ★★only.
