I was so amazed to see the photo shoots of Penelope Cruz and other A-List Hollywood celebrities in Vogue Paris May 2010. The A-List celebrity are Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Gwenyth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts and Bono. I always love Penelope Cruz since the beginning. Shutter Island Movie Review

Hell no! My mid semester break is nearly finish soon! Bosan. I don't want to end my 'hantu malam' routine so soon! Well, what to do I have to be a student and go to classes. Even worst, I must start doing assignments tonight. Next week ada tiga assignments must be done. Super hectic. Last week, when I went to Malacca Nazwan, Apai, Ass and I went to watch a movie together! Oh! It's been a really long time a go we watch movie together as four! I miss that moment. We watched Shutter Island. One reason why I wanted to watch Shutter Island. The movie trailer really impressed me! The gloomy scenes and like 'there is something I must figure it out what is actually happened' feeling came towards me and so I must watch it. But wanna know what I feel after struggling watch it for 2 hours? Boring and dragging me. Leonardo DiCaprio makes himself crazy in the movie same as me.
Shutter Island adalah lakonan Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Max Von Sydow and Michelle Williams. I guess Leonardo DiCaprio's movies are getting boring and tak berminat untuk I tengok. Well, we just have to wait his next movie 'Inception'. Is it good or bad. Mark Ruffalo doesn't stimulate me in this movie even though he is my favourite actor. I assumed the boringness of the movie make me turn into this. Poor Mark Ruffalo. You are my man in 'Just Like Heaven' and '13 Going To 30'. This movie is about Leonardo DiCaprio as U.S. Marshall who arrives on the titular island and tak sedarkan diri which is actually he is crazy man with mental illnesses. Dia tak sedar yang actually dia yang gila and everything in the story are his bayangan. All of us expected that. In 1940s , Leonardo DiCaprio and his partner, Mark Ruffalo, go to the Ashecliff Hospital for the criminally insane on Shutter Island. They are investigating the disappearance of Rachel Solando, a patient who vanished from a locked room. Start from this please imagine that the true story of Leonardo DiCaprio are not revealed. Bayangkan dia still a U.S Marshall.
When they arrived Ashecliff Hospital they met Dr. John, the head psychiatrist, explains that Rachel was institutionalized after drowning her three children. She believes, however, that she is still home and that her children are still alive. So they started to investigate Rachel Solando's case. They question the staff and learn that Rachel’s psychiatrist left for vacation that morning. I macam pelik at first. Started from that night, Leonardo DiCaprio has strange dreams about his wife, Michelle Williams, who died in a fire two years before. Lepas tu cerita mancarut keluar. I macam confused and started to thinking what this all have to do with him. Suddenly nama Andrew Laeddis. Siapa dia? I started to think that maybe this is all because maybe all the people in Aschecliff Hospital are bad people and try to turn Leonardo DiCaprio into crazy person. Few things Leonardo DiCaprio did when he tried to investigate it. He started to questioning the light house. Teddy tries to reach the lighthouse and discovers a cave where the real Rachel Solando is hiding.
She explains that the hospital is using psychotropic medication in an attempt to master mind control. Leonardo DiCaprio finally makes it to the lighthouse and finds Dr. John waiting at the top. The doctor reveals that Leonardo DiCaprio is actually Andrew Laeddis. He murdered his depressive wife after she drowned their three children, and then created a fantasy. But the actual situation happened can be seen when Leonardo DiCaprio dream about his wife there is few elements added to the scene. Like water and fire. This element memang nak tunjuk ada kaitan dengan his secrets. Paling kelakar sekali he invented Rachel Solando as part of his delusion. So this clearly shows that Leonardo DiCaprio ni adalah orang gila. Period. What I lost about this movie was why Leonardo DiCaprio's wife killed their three children and why she was depressed with her life? This question never been answer in the movie.In my point of view, Shutter Island doesn't deliver as many surprises or shocks as one would hope and get completely sucked into the action and are subjected to that "trapped" feeling.

When In Rome Movie Review

Have you ever felt that when you watching a great movie but the cinema theater is horrible? I have experienced it when watching When In Rome. Currently, I'm on mid semester break and I went back to Seremban last week. Nothing much to do here. Just spending my 'quality' time at home with my mother. On Monday, Ass went to Seremban and we decided to hang out and watch movie together. At first, pergi TGV Jusco and sadly they don't screening When In Rome and we changed place to MBO Cineplex and thank god ada.But the theater and seats are bad! Macam kecil gila. Screen super weird! Nak buat macamana no other choice. I guess this is the first time Josh Duhamel acted in a romantic comedy genre movie and he is the main role! Like before, Kristen Bell is just typical blond girl next door. Hehe. But I was impressed with the duo couple. They really have chemistry kan? Move over Fergie! Haha. In my point of view, When In Rome is just a simple movie and I found the movie enjoyable if only because of the cast.
When In Rome adalah lakonan Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel, Anjelica Huston, Will Arnett and Danny DeVito. Macamana lakonan Kristen Bell? Biasa sangat. She just being blond next door. I was attracted to Josh Duhamel's character. He has a great mix of the awkward and the charming, exactly what one expects from a romantic comedy. What I like about this two couple are I had believable on-screen chemistry that made me want to keep watching even though the story line is a bit stiff. This movie is about a successful woman who is unlucky in love steals some coins from the Fountain of Love while in Rome. As a result, a spell is cast on the owners of the coins, causing them to fall in love with her. I love the opening of the movie, cool song 'Starstrukk' with a great view of New York. How she get to go Rome? Kristen Bell goes to Rome to attend her younger sister's impulsive wedding. At first, she was so shocked to hear about her sister's engagement. Because they barely known each other and she rasa pelik lah why she sangat susah nak jumpa the one.
At her sister's wedding, a lot funny scenes happened. Like she have to break a big vase but it couldn't break until Josh Duhamel throw it at wall and broke! The wedding moment was beautiful. I think it is Romanian's wedding. It looks very family moment and happiness. and there she met charming Josh Duhamel. Elok elok. They chatted and dance together. They felt something between them. But, Kristen Bell was mistaken Josh Duhamel when she saw he and a girl. So she went to fountain of love and drunk. While there, she picks up five coins and turns out the owners of the coins fall in love with her. All five of them, including Josh Duhamel. Each man got different personality and semua pelik. A few of them had me laughing, most had me cringing at the creep factor. After that Kristen Bell had to fly back to New York because she have to settle her work. Elok elok they all just happen to live in New York as well. Tapi I tengok each characters macam different style and culture. The director should work on that.
Then, Josh Duhamel started to approach Kristen Bell. Tapi Kristen Bell ignored all his approaches. Because she thought that, the reason Josh Duhamel fall in love with him is only because of the coin's spell. I paling kelakar masa they date at this one creepy black out restaurant. Imagine the restaurant are completely dark and tak boleh nampak apa apa. They terlanggar everyone and when they sneak out the waiter stepped Bell's hand. Extremely funny that time. Few dates after that, Bell still doesn't believe him because of the coin's spell and try to figure out how to break the spell. and then her sister's told that to break the spell must return the coins to the owner. Kristen Bell's believes that dah selamat lah kan and getting married with Duhamel. and sekali sedar that Duhamel's coin belum kasi lagi and she ran away. Josh Duhamel convinced her that true love isn't just a topic of fairy tales and romance novels and he don't even throw the coin into Fountain Of Love. Rupa rupanya paderi weird tu yang buang! Dumb ass.
In short I would recommend this film for anyone looking for a few dumb laughs, some pretty funny slapstick, beautiful things and beautiful people, or for anyone who thinks the feminist movement wasn’t really all that worth while.

An Education Movie Review

Life lesson comes with a price in An Education. That is a simple sentence to described a very powerful movie I ever watched this year. I have been searching the DVD for a month and I still couldn't found it until last week I went to Kelana Jaya and saw it at this one pirated DVD shop. I am so happy that I found the DVD. I knew the movie from the nominations of Oscar and recommended from a friend. Before that, I always read about the lead actress Carey Mulligan's profile in magazine and Internet. Overall, An Education is simply the best and my top 5 movies this year. I love everything about the movie especially the storyline. I never watch any movies that tell about a love story between young girl and mature man. Well, this love story is what I really interested to know and something that I want to know what happens in the end. Are there any chances this type of realtionship lasting?
An Education adalah lakonan Carey Mulligan, Alfred Molina, Peter Sarsgaard, Dominic Cooper and Rosamund Pike. After watched An Education until end, I analyzed that Carey Mulligan is super best and gorgeous. She is the perfect actress for the Jenny Mellor role. Peter Sarsgaard is always be my favourite man. I love him. He is freaking cute. I nak cubit cubit his pipi. Super comel. If I were Carey Mulligan the same thing that happened to her will happen to me.Haha. His super cute and gentleman covers all. Dominic Cooper also in the movie. But he looks a bit down in the movie. Personally, my favourite role are Jenny's mother, Marjorie. I will tell you guys the reason later. This movie is about bored 16-year-old girl in 1961 London who wrongly fall in love with older man. The 16-year-old girl is Jenny who played by Care Mulligan. Jenny is a schoolgirl, she is the clever A-student, the arch young cynic, the naive girl, the lover and the fool. Jenny are controlled by his parents especially her father. Her father will observed all her studies and education is his priority to make sure that Jenny are accepted to further her study in Oxford.
The love journey begin when Jenny is given a lift home by a charming older man, David Goldman, 30-ish, Jewish and charmish played by Peter Sarsgaard, He has a sports car and smart suits, and what he does for a living is interestingly vague. He can talk jazz and classical and he has been to Paris.That time it was raining heavily. Jenny walked back home from music's class and David saw her. They started to chat in the car and they have few things in common. Music and Paris. At first, Jenny didn't show any love interest toward David until the next thing happened. The next few days, Jenny bumped into David at Jenny's favourite hang out restaurant with her friends. They planned to watch music performance. But she said her parents won't allowed that. To make sure that outing happens David went to meet her parents. You guys know what? An Education is a smart film. The film’s very smart about Jenny’s parents, middle-class strives seduced by David’s hints of upper-class connections. Because of that Jenny's parents kena tipu bulat bulat.
Then Jenny started to skips out on the town with David and his business partner Danny played by Dominic Cooper. There’s a nightclub scene that features one of the best shot in the whole movie. A close-up of Mulligan’s dazed, sweet smile. The most beautiful scene in the movie are when Jenny and David went to Paris. Brilliant shots. So beautiful. I always wanted to go Paris. The shots are just perfect. It shows what love really means. I post few pictures from the movie in my previous post. How perfect it is right? Jenny's studies started to fall badly. Even worst after partying David hastily proposes marriage. She dropped out from school without taking exams and getting serious with marriage.She justifies this by questioning the point of an education, and stating that its boring.After few pujukan, Her father agrees to the engagement. One night, David wanted to bring her parents to have dinner somewhere, and on the way they stopped at gas station. While waiting, Jenny searching for cigarettes in David's glove compartment, Jenny finds a stack of letters addressed to "Mr. and Mrs. David Goldman". She demands that David tell her parents that he is already married so she won't have to do it herself, but instead he drives off.
Jenny are terribly sad. Jenny macam super menyesal of what she has done. At last, her parents yang at her side. No other people. David just left her like that. Dahlah Jenny has nothing else. She started to think about her future. Dia nak sambung study semula and get the best result to be further her study in Oxford. Her old headmistress refuses to allow her to repeat her final year of school, so Jenny goes to the home of her favorite teacher, who helps her study and pass her A-levels. She is accepted to read English at Oxford, which had been her ambition before she met David. The reason why I love Jenny's mother, Marjorie role are because she is the only one who supported Jenny's decision even for the good or worst. This movie really shows that without education you are nobody in this world. and also how the teenager's spirit membuak buak when you still in teens years. Don't be fool by love. Whatever it is, An Education is a fun production with a great soundtrack and scrumptious English scenery. Totally love it.

She started to think about her future. Dia nak sambung study semula and get the best result to be further her study in Oxford. Her old headmistress refuses to allow her to repeat her final year of school, so Jenny goes to the home of her favorite teacher, who helps her study and pass her A-levels. She is accepted to read English at Oxford, which had been her ambition before she met David. The reason why I love Jenny's mother, Marjorie role are because she is the only one who supported Jenny's decision even for the good or worst. This movie really shows that without education you are nobody in this world. and also how the teenager's spirit membuak buak when you still in teens years. Don't be fool by love. Whatever it is, An Education is a fun production with a great soundtrack and scrumptious English scenery. Totally love it.

Date Night Movie Review

Today was an exhausted day for me. Woke up early at 8.30am then I have to drive straight away to Cheras to meet my sister and passed some stuff to her. It was because she is going to visit my another sister in Jakarta tonight. So my mother make some rendang and nak kasi lah kat dia. I met my nephew Irfan. He is all grown up now. I mean he is still 5 years old but wow! his style dah besar, he even can wear his own clothes and prepared his own breakfast! Terrer kan? Good to train him to be independent boy. Then around 2pm I went back to Seremban and I slept. and now I'm writing another movie review that I watched last week. Ass and I watched Date Night. I'm sure most of us are waiting for this hilarious and for sure super funny movie, right? Plus the NBC darlings are team up on one comedy movie. Tina Fey and Steve Carell. Overall, the movie was fine to me and few stuff make me laugh like hell.
Date Night adalah lakonan Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, James Franco, Taraji P. Henson, Jimmi Simpson, Common and Leighton Meester. Steve Carell is always be the funny one. With his innocent look and at the same time gila gila make this movie alive. Love him. He is quite cute though! Tina Fey punya lakonan biasa! But I like the couple. They look perfect together. With that kind of recognition comes oodles of box office potential, and combined with the laughs these two comedians make this comedy movie alive! There is a lot of famous stars was featured in the movie. Like my favourite Mila Kunis and Leighton Meester was one of the stars! But lakonan macam terlalu biasa lah. Date Night is about Steve Carell and Tina Fey are a married couple with two children whose live in a normal style. One unlucky night, they went to a date night to Manhattan restaurant where they can't get a table. Steve Carell came out with an idea to take a reservation from a no-show couple, the Tripplehorns.
Like they pretend they are the Tripplehorns. Sekali, tengah syok syok naik hantu having the meal, they are approached by two men. Both of them kena tarik keluar from the restaurant and threatened to pass the flash drive back. Actually, itu kerja the Tripplehorns. They have mistaken the identity. Where a silly case of mistaken identity turns their date upside down.They lied and ran to Central Park and berjaya larikan diri. Steve Carell and Tina Fey dah naik gila with this mistaken identity and tried to figure out nak cari the Tripplehorns. Tina Fey met her former clients which is the HOT Mark Wahlberg is a security expert. Macam hot sangat Mark Wahlberg's body! Merembes ok! Haha. Then they meat the Tripplehorns which is played by James Franco and Mila Kunis. They question about the flash drive and Joe Miletto. Because they don't even know what the hell is the flash drive?! Actually the flash drive contains pictures of district attorney Frank Crenshaw with prostitutes. No wonder they takut sangat!
Then the funniest scene was when both of them met Frank Crenshaw at the stripped club. They doing a pole dance for him! Macam tarian merepek sangat! Steve Carell looks extremely funny when he dance! Lastly, Frank Crenshaw and Joe Miletto was arrested at the roof top and It is revealed that Steve Carell was wearing a wire given by Mark Wahlberg, who informed the police of the situation. That's all. Very simple kan the movie.Haha. In my point of view, Date Night isn't completely devoid of laughs, but considering the talent involved, you'd expect them to be bigger.

Hey guys! How are you doing? Me? Nothing much. My mom drives me crazy. Her mouth just can't keep quiet. No need to explain about that. Well, she is just being a mother. Forget about it. Last week, was quite number of movies I watched. So just read what movie that I review or just don't read if it's don't bother you. Easy. I managed to watch I Hate Valentine's Day last week with Ass. When the boring-ness killed us that night we decided to watch DVD and here goes the review. I Hate Valentine's Day is another typical romantic comedy with typical-blonde as the main role. Haha. Why I said that? Because dia tak cantik. Period. The reason why I bought the DVD are because the title sounds cool and plus John Corbett are also the main actor! How we can forget him as the charming-boyfriend of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and The City season 4? Still remember how I go crazy with his character in the series. Well, I Hate Valentine's Day have no speciality to look for just a movie to fulfill your boring time.
I Hate Valentine's Day adalah lakonan Nia Vardalos, John Corbett, Amir Arison and Zoe Kazan. Wanna know something crazy? I don't even know who the hell is Nia Vardalos. Sorry! But what I know was Nia Vardalos are the writer and director of this movie. So semua untung dia dapat and no wonder dia tak guna A-List actress buat movie sendiri and jadi main role. Konon konon nak terus jadi batu loncatan kot? Mimpi. Haha. John Corbett is gorgeous as always. True gentleman. This movie is about an 'old woman' Nia Vardalos who practiced 5 day rule book in her love game. That principles is for people yang tak nak terima kenyataan and nak jaga hati diri sendiri. Her rule is about cannot date a man beyond fifth day. Come the day, she simply walks out of the door and disappear.She don't want any commitment just hanging out and have fun. Additionally, she would specify what each date should be like. After those dates the romance is gone and she will moves away.
Nia Vardalos is a florist and have a shop. One day, John Carbett walks into her shop and wanted to buy flowers for his girlfriend. Started from that day, they dating and romance happened. Each dates have different story and jokes. I like the part where they date at this one restaurant with a crazy voice karaoke while having dinner. I like John Carbett during this part. He perfectly portrayed the role as organized business man. This was especially apparent during the karaoke scene where he didn't sing even when fate picked him to take the stage. Then, they had sex at fourth date. Nia Vardalos naik hantu and she tried to move on after that. But it didn't went well. Dia asyik teringat about him and frustrated when she sees John Carbett seems moving on.
But try to accept the fact that she really loves him and this time is different. There is love between them. Lastly, supported by Nia Vardalos's friends John Carbett managed to convinced her that he really love her and really serious about it. Well, 100% expected. That's all. The story gets really weak at some point and it was a struggle to keep watching just so I could see the obvious ending. But still it gets 2 ratings for me because the acting performance and general presentation were quite alright.

The Blind Side Movie Review

At last I am back to my mother's house in Seremban. Why I sounds so relief? Because it has been two days 45 minutes I have been thinking whether to go back to my mother's house or just stay and being silly and alone at my own house? Wise decision. One thing makes me hate to go back was the time I've wasted waiting for Komuter train. Komuter train system is bullshit. Please, please government work something to improve the Komuter system! I hate it. Enough crapping on this shit. Now let's move on to my next movie review. As I said before, tons of movie reviews have to be done! Haha. I really committed with my blog, am I? I've watched movie that make the unforgettable Sandra Bullock's winning moment in Oscar and Golden Globe award this year for Best Actress. It was The Blind Side. I memang beria ria and semangat sangat nak tengok how was her acting in The Blinde Side. Very impressive? Personally, I enjoyed watching this meaningful movie but I doubt with Sandra Bullock's winning for Best Actress. The Blind Side is a movie that will taught you to be accepted and welcomes all the people around you in any different kind of ways. Something valuable.

Haha. I love Tim McGraw! He is super cute and I was impressed with his role! If I'm not mistaken this is his first time acting, right? He really shows me the real-sporting father is. Quiton Aaron as Michael Oher the big-giant-homeless-black guy! He scares me! But when he being innocent makes we wanna hug him like big giant teddy bear. Sweet. This movie is about a homeless black teenager, played by Quinton Aaron has kelaur masuk of the school system untul berkali kali. Then Sandra Bullock and her husband, Tim McGraw, take him in, transforming Michael's life and theirs. With help from his new-found family, tutors and coaches, he realizes his potential as a student and football player. The cherish moment started when, Michael meets SJ, who quickly befriends Michael. SJ is Sandra and Tim's son. So one night, on their way back home they saw Michael Oher walking on the road, kesejukan. Sandra Bullock kesiankan his situation and offers him a place to spend the night. The next morning, the whole family celebrated Thanksgiving with Michael.
Since that, Sandra Bullock macam tersentuh hati and mula feels something. She went to see his lecturer and nak observe his academic results and everything. Surprisingly, he scored in the 98% in 'protective instincts'. Sandra Bullock wants Michael Oher to be in football team. She believe that he have a strong potential to be in team. Her reason was everyone in her family was an athlete. There is one scene I love the most. Where his coach scolded him in front of everyone because he can't play well until Sandra Bullock came down the field and supported and said few techniques terusssss Michael Oher naik hantu and play very well. Suddenly he performs exceptionally on the field and catches the eye of many college coaches from around the state. They want to offers scholarship. But his grades were too low and he must achieve at least CGPA 2.5 above, so Sandra Bullock hire a private tutor. In the end, Michael ends up with a GPA of 2.52. Everyone was pushing him and gave 100% supports to him.
Then, Michael was been called to meet an investigator to investigate him why he chose Mississippi, rather than Tennessee. Weird? Why benda tu pun nak kena check? Bukan itu hak diaorang? I don't really understand this part. The result came out Michael gone mad and tiba tiba nak speaks out his hak by saying which university he want he can choose! Then, Michael ran away from house and found by Sandra Bullock and tells him that she wants him to choose which university he accepts a scholarship from and any decisions he makes in life will be supported by her. Tak sedar diri punya gemuk!? Emo sekejap. Then he realized that he was 100% sure to choose Ole Miss because his whole family has gone to school there. To summarize that, he feels that because he have his family now by all their supports and love.
One thing to be question is what about if Michael Oher is a white guy and Sandra Bullock and family is black people. Will that situation turns out to be like this too? Like being accepted easily. A white enter black community? Will it happen? Think about it.
Well, the concept of the movie I really adored and respect.This is a must see film for your family this weekend.I believe all young people need to see this movie with their families and then talk about what they can do in their own neighborhood and schools to reach out to someone in need. Good thing to start?
