Hey readers!

When was the last time you see Jude Law is so smoking hot? I mean in a movie not US Weekly or People magazine. None right? I was so impressed and amazed with Jude Law's character in his latest/villain movie entitled
Repo Men. He is absolutely hot and can I say gorgeous. Actually I adore him since what?, The Closer (along with Natalie Portman and Clive Owen) but not that crazy over him. But when he's back with good shape and short hair, oh my! He is so handsome. Most of the time I enjoy looking at him rather than watching the blood and spooky part. Sure, he might be a box office jinx, but the talent and charm that he brings to each role is undeniable, and for me, became what made this movie ultimately a good two hours of fun. Overall the movie was only OK. It's just that too much of blood and
villain scenes. It's also focus on humanity and technology, but the social message is delivered in a far too campy facility to take seriously.
Repo Men adalah lakonan Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, Alice Baga and Liev Schreiber. What can I say about Jude Law in this movie? Hmmm.. Blood, gore, great action, and Jude Law? Even at it’s worst it’s still worth a watch. Repo Men is about Two such repo men are childhood buddies Remy played by
Jude Law and Jake played by Forest Whitaker, both of whom work for the sleazy Frank played by Live Schreiber. All is good with the world, as the two buddies spend their nights cruising for repo victims with their scanners, which can pick up a past due organ from some ridiculous distances. In 2025, a corporation called The Union has perfected the creation of artificial organs, which have replaced organ transplants. A potential customer can apply for an organ, which is sold on credit. If a customer is unable to maintain payments after three months, a repo-man is sent to the customer to reclaim their property. The process of the repossession is
brutal, and often results in the death of the customer.

I don't know the purpose of this business. What actually The Union want? To enjoy watching people suffers, to get million bucks or to have a chance killing people? What kind of business if you don't have
money to pay the bills you must kill them? I totally don't get the point. The story starts when Remy is sent to the residence of a music producer and prepares to repossess his heart. When he attempts to use a heart defibrillator to stop the unit, the defibrillator malfunctions, sending a large electrical shock through his body and knocking him into a coma. When Remy awakens, he realize he already be fitted with an artificial heart. If not he will already died. Remy goes back to work, but is unable to perform his job, because he is just like the people he is
repossessing from. Remy is attacked by a pair of men whom he attempted to repossess, and blacks out. Then he met, Beth played by Alice Baga. He discovers that she has multiple organs that she is past due on, and he went to The Union's headquarters, Remy destroys all evidence of his life and Beth's.
Next their mission are to run away from the other Union's repo-men. They started a plan where they went to the The Union's headquarters, hoping to remove themselves from the system. Once inside, they discover that the server does not have any interface, except for a scanner. Remy realizes that the only way to
remove himself from the system is to repo himself. Remy and Beth cut themselves open in order to use the scanner internally, clearing their accounts. and they did it. Later the ending was normal and happily ever after. Remy is befriend with Jake again and spending time on a tropical beach. While he enjoying the vacation, he sees instead the background flickering and incoherent voices. It is discovered that Remy, in fact, sustained severe brain damage when Jake hit him with the heavy chain earlier in the film. This renders the second half of the film as simply a fantasy of Remy's. Crazy enough?
The basic story is plastic thin, but the action and frantic pace works to keep things moving. Visually you get knocked over by the
blood, gore, and effects. In my point of view, some redeeming qualities and are what makes the film worth watching.
I comment this movie
(3) ★★★only.
